KDP Keyword Miner — Candidate Phrases from Category Bestsellers

Where do candidate keywords come from before you have anything to verify? From the categories themselves: recurring phrases mined from each category's charting titles — frequency plus rank weighting, across all 499 scanned categories. Frequencies are counted from charting titles, not search-volume estimates.

Covers 499 categories, with phrases mined from each category's charting titles — data from the Oct 19, 2026 scan snapshot, updated periodically, not real-time tracking.

How to read these phrases

Frequency (×N)
How many of the category's charting titles contain the phrase. Higher frequency means the category's front rows consistently use it — a title-pattern count, not a search-volume estimate.
Rank weighting
Each occurrence is weighted by chart position (rank 1 counts 50, rank 50 counts 1), so phrases carried by the category's strongest sellers outrank phrases carried by its tail.
How to use them
Copy a phrase, then verify before committing: run it through the keyword competition lookup (page-one scan) before it earns a title or backend slot. Mining answers what the category's books are called; verification answers whether you can compete on it.

Frequently asked questions

Are these keyword search volumes?

No — and that's deliberate. Each phrase is mined from the titles of a category's charting books (top 50 per scan), counted by how often it appears and weighted by how high those books rank. Amazon publishes no KDP search volumes; honest keyword discovery starts from what charting titles actually say, not estimated numbers.

How is a phrase's score calculated?

Two factors: frequency — how many of the category's charting titles carry the phrase — and rank weight, so phrases sitting on higher-ranked bestsellers surface first. Read it as "what the winners of this category are signaling," which is exactly what a keyword candidate should look like before you spend effort verifying it.

What do I do with the phrases I find?

Click any phrase to copy it. Mining is free with no account; the next step — checking a phrase's real competition — runs in the signed-in KDP workspace as a keyword competition lookup, so you see the page-one lineup before spending any of your seven backend slots on the word.
